Publication check required
This policy is a service-specific draft. Before publishing it, replace every bracketed placeholder with the correct legal entity, registered address and contact details, confirm the current suppliers named in it, and have a qualified UK solicitor review the final wording.
This policy forms part of the PromoProof terms of service. It protects participants, customers and the integrity of the evidence service.
Use PromoProof only for its intended purpose
- Use the service only to document and evidence winner selections for free-to-enter promotions that you are authorised to manage.
- Keep your campaign facts, terms, entrant data and eligibility decisions accurate and up to date.
- Use the minimum personal data reasonably required for the selection and protect access to your workspace.
- Use records honestly and do not present PromoProof as the promotion organiser, legal adviser, regulator or prize fulfiller.
You must not
- Sell tickets, accept paid entries, run lotteries or gambling activities, or use the service for a promotion that is unlawful or misleading.
- Upload data without authority, or upload special-category data, children’s data or unnecessary personal information.
- Attempt to manipulate, bypass, reverse engineer, interfere with or undermine a recorded selection process, audit record, security control or service limit.
- Use another person’s account, share credentials outside your authorised team, introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorised access.
- Use the service to harass, discriminate, defraud, infringe rights, spread harmful content or breach applicable law.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected misuse and may restrict, suspend or end access where necessary to protect people, data, the service or our legal position. We may preserve relevant information and cooperate with authorities where required by law. Report suspected abuse to info@promoproof.co.uk.
